Python Stream Transformers & Asynchronous Generators (async*)
When you need to generate a stream of asynchronous values on demand, Dart provides **Asynchronous Generators** (`async*`). Inside an `async*` function, you can use `await` to pause for asynchronous operations and `yield` to emit values into the resulting `Stream<T>`. Streams also support functional transformation methods like `.map()`, `.where()`, `.take()`, and `.transform()`.
"An `async*` generator is like a podcast broadcaster: the host records and edits each episode over a period of time (`await`), and as soon as an episode is rendered, it is published to the subscriber feed (`yield`)."
Deep Dive: How It Works
`async*` Modifier: Declares an asynchronous generator returning `Stream<T>`.
`yield`: Emits a value into the stream without terminating the generator function.
`yield*`: Delegates emission to another existing `Stream` (`yield* secondaryStream;`).
Stream Transformations: `.where((e) => e.isValid).map((e) => transform(e))` builds reactive event pipelines.
Syntax Blueprint
Stream<int> countStream(int max) async* {
for (int i = 1; i <= max; i++) {
await Future.delayed(Duration(milliseconds: 10));
yield i; // Emits into stream
}
}Asynchronous generator function yielding stream values with non-blocking delays.

Common Beginner Traps & How to Fix Them
Confusing `sync*` (returns `Iterable`) with `async*` (returns `Stream`).Why it happens: Similar syntax.
How to fix: Use `sync*` for synchronous on-demand collections; use `async*` when operations require `await`.

Create Async Stream Generator
Define `Stream<int> generateMultiples(int base, int count) async* { for (var i = 1; i <= count; i++) { yield base * i; } }`.
In `main() async`, consume `generateMultiples(5, 3)` using `await for` and print each value.
