In Plain English
Control program flow with if-elseif-else blocks and compact ternary operators (condition ? true_val : false_val) in Julia.
Deep Dive: How It Works
Conditionals: In Julia, conditions inside if must evaluate strictly to a Bool (true or false). Non-boolean values (e.g. 1 or 0) throw a TypeError.
Ternary Operator: A ? B : C is a concise one-line alternative to an if-else block. It returns an expression value.
Blocks: Julia if blocks terminate with the end keyword and do not require parentheses around condition expressions.
Core Rules to Remember

Strict Boolean Requirement: Conditions must be genuine Bool values; integers like 1 or 0 will trigger a TypeError.

Ternary Syntax: Use condition ? val1 : val2 for clean expression assignments.

Compound If-Elseif-Else: Chain multiple conditions cleanly with elseif without nesting.

How it works: score=88 satisfies score >= 80, assigning grade="B". Ternary assigns "Passed".
Your Turn: Micro Challenge

Micro Exercise
Classify Number Sign
Set `num = -15`.
Write an `if-elseif-else` block: if `num > 0` set `category = "Positive"`, elseif `num < 0` set `category = "Negative"`, else set `category = "Zero"`.
Print `"Category: "` followed by `category`.
