Privacy & Sandbox Architecture

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

1. Ephemeral Cloud Execution & Code Privacy

ZenCompiler is built with security and privacy at its foundation. When you execute code on ZenCompiler, your code runs inside an isolated, temporary container sandbox. Containers are destroyed immediately upon execution completion or timeout.

Your source code is never saved, shared, or indexed unless you explicitly choose to save a project to your cloud account or create a public shareable snippet link.

2. Local Storage Preferences

We use browser LocalStorage exclusively on your device to store non-sensitive editor configurations, such as your selected code editor theme, font size, layout split ratio, and language code drafts. You can reset these preferences at any time via your browser settings or on our Settings Page.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

We partner with Google AdSense to serve non-intrusive ads on ZenCompiler. Google and its partner vendor networks may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's visits to websites.

4. European Economic Area (EEA), UK & Switzerland User Consent

In compliance with GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, and Swiss privacy laws, ZenCompiler utilizes Google-certified Consent Management to present transparent cookie and data choices to visitors from covered regions.
